My ink tells a story of someone trying to make their body feel like home. It's a way to express my gender and craft my self image.

Enter For FreeI recently got a chain link fence on my left knee. My childhood home, the home my parents still live in, has a chain link fence out front. It's nice to carry that part of home with me, a piece of comfort. This was my first knee tattoo and it hurt like hell to sit through, but it's definitely one of my favorite tattoos now.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?I think my ink would speak in many voices, voices from movies or paintings or memories. I think my ink would say that I choose to tattoo art forms that move me, that devastate me, ink talismans that help fulfill the image I have of myself in my head. Most of all, my ink says I am here, I am still alive in spite of it all, and I will be who I want to be!
What would you do with the $25,000?I think my immediate thought is to give a good chunk of it to my parents; in 2022 I lost my job due to COVID hitting small businesses and then suffered a seizure. I wouldn't be able to shower on my own and drive a car again had it not been for my parents taking me in and helping me out with some of my living expenses until I got back on my feet. I've been living paycheck to paycheck since then, so this money would allow me to have financial freedom for the first time in my life.
