My most recent tattoo was inspired by the passing of my grandma. When I visited her grave for the first time, a butterfly kept flying around and landed on my finger each time I held it out. The next day, my cousin (who was with me) sent me a pic of my grandma holding what looked like the exact same butterfly. It felt like a sign, to me it was a reminder that she’s still with us.
