Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My last tattoo, an eagle on my thigh, was inspired by my Papa Lloyd’s final statement: “The eagle has landed.” For him, it meant he had arrived, grounded and at peace. My eagle is still in flight, symbolizing my ongoing journey, growth, and the strength I carry forward. It’s a tribute to his spirit and a reminder that while he has landed, I’m still soaring, still becoming. Every step I take carries his presence with me.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

If my ink could speak, it would murmur truths, etched in silence, shaped by youth. It would speak of nights I didn’t break, of love I lost and vows I make. It would tell you of a cat that grins, through madness, loss, and quiet sins. Of cherubs watching skies I’ve crossed, guarding parts of me I thought were lost. What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25,000, I’d first support an Indigenous tattoo artist from my community, helping elevate their craft and provide recognition for their artistry. I’d also travel to Australia to get tattooed by an artist whose work I deeply admire, expanding my collection and connecting with the culture. The rest of the money would go toward growing Rezhound, my business, putting funds into projects that amplify Indigenous voices and stories. Every investment would be a step toward honouring my
