My ink is a figurative way of wearing my heart on my sleeve. It’s an archive of emotions put into a visual art form that I reflect on daily.

Enter For FreeMy tattoos are illustrations of my personal mantras pertaining to love and life. My last few are floral designs. To me, the lives of flowers is metaphorical. Flowers “die” and then blossom and grow again. They embody individual beauty but yet display a sense of community. They thrive more when they aren’t cut short and stay grounded. I tattooed flowers behind my right ear, specifically, because in Hawaiian culture it’s a symbol of one who wishes to find love.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?“All I do is think of you when I look at my tattoo!” If you know you know. All of my tattoos can provide a good vantage point and insight into my morals and values and emotions. Love for self leads to love for others and vice versa.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the resources to continue to express myself with my many artistic endeavors. As a creative, the magic of my creativity has always come from “making something out of nothing.” I believe with a certain level of nurturing and wherewithal, that another elevated level of my artistic expression will be unlocked. Subsequently, I would also like to pour into inspirational budding visionaries and muses.
