Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

The relieving feeling after a long-term, and finding my inner light did. I have three tattoos done almost the same time. One of them is the one with the boat and palm trees; the other one is a saying. Third one is a sea horse, seahorse, symbolizing self-love and strength for me. I have 7 tattoos in total but these three are the ones which I love the most.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

If my ink could speak, it would whisper memories of summer sails, calm bays, and family laughter. It would tell of my love for the sea, the joy of swimming since childhood, and the peace I find in quiet waters. Born in July, summer is where I feel most alive. This tattoo holds the breeze, the salt, and the sun—it’s not just on my skin, it’s my happy place, my story, and my forever escape.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I’m turning 40 this year, and my dream is to get a tattoo from Kozo. I can’t afford to buy his art for my walls, but I’d love to wear it on my skin—becoming a living canvas for his work. It would be the most meaningful gift to myself. The rest? I’d happily send it to my savings account… after maybe a little celebratory gelato!
