What inspired your most recent tattoo?

I have been trying to finish up my Alice in wonderland wrap around thigh piece. I've always been in love with the book/movie, including through the looking glass. And I love the one of the original illustrations, the line work and cross hatch style shading. I wanted it to be like the book was on my leg. My tattoo artist Josh Newman was down! I can't wait to finish it! I am indecisive on filler or not. I did not want to cover my scars yet at least. I want to wear my scars with this art on my leg.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

My interpretation on Alice and her adventures in Wonderland is, that in life you will find yourself lost, trying to find the right path. Maybe not knowing what to do, where to go, knowing the right decision to make. Or maybe some times just saying f*** it and biting random treats you find and going through random little doors and just asking strangers for help or guidance and fighting that Jabberwocky on your own. Finding your inner strength and individuality.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I actually am stressing the f*** out right now because my slumlords did slumlords things. I would use that money towards a down payment for a home I could afford so my family has a non-hazardous, secure place to live. I am a mom of one human, 3 cats, and 3 dogs. So, a place to live with my two big GSD, rent is just as much as a mortgage, girl math. I am also disabled, and I don't make a whole lot at the moment with my small business/on disability. So, the security would mean everything to me!!
