Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

I got the opportunity to help an artist at a local tattoo school complete their portfolio/number of tattoo needed to graduate with a simple traditional piece! But the piece itself was a butterfly wing coming out of the skull so for me it represents rebirth.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

Most of my tattoos have to do with pain or rebirth which I’ve experienced a lot even as a 23 year old. My biological father was a deadbeat addict and alcoholic, so my step dad raised my brother and I for the most part from the time I was 5 on. He was diagnosed with mesothelioma after a brutal rollover wreck when I was 6, just 6 months after he and my mom got married. What would you do with the $25,000?

I’d love to be able to buy a place to call mine, I don’t want my son to have the uncertainty I did growing up. Even in his first 3 years we’ve moved 3 times and are looking at a potential 4th move this year already. I have moved an immeasurable amount of times, being homeless at least 6 different times in my life and I’ve had to adapt and deal with obstacles that I don’t want for my child.
