Enter For FreeMy tattoos were forced upon me as a sort of “branding”; like you would do to livestock. Now that I am free from my abuser, I would like meaningful pieces in place of what’s there. I nearly lost my life, but am a survivor. I would like my artwork to convey that message.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?Sadly, right now, it just conveys “Property of”. It’s really hard to look at my body and live in my skin and appreciate it for the survivor that it is, and the hurdles its overcome with the tattoos it has on it right now.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would help a young girl I know who wants to become a Tattoo Artist get started on her career; and also put a down payment on a stable home; which would mean a home and stability for generations to come.
