My most recent tattoo is my back piece. It is a realism/blackwork design collab of a girl holding a crow looking out of a cathedral window with tears running down her face. For the last two years i’ve felt like that girl, hiding myself away due to depression but so badly wanting to heal and make connections and not be the lonely girl in the window. If your ink could speak, what would it say?It would tell a story of a young girl who started getting tattoos at a young age when she was going through a lot of hardships. My ink has been like a journal for me, every piece has meaning to something that was going on in my life at that time, something I needed to address and let go of. My ink would tell the story of a girl who is insanely strong and has been through too much but kept going no matter what, and is grateful for it.
What would you do with the $25,000?That amount of money truly is a breath of fresh air. I’d be able to pay off some debts, work less so I can focus on my art and my hobbies; things that truly bring me joy and make the bad days seem alright. I’d be able to give back to my mom and take her on that dream trip she’s always wanted to go on but never could afford. I’d be able to do more.
