Becoming sober, I never thought in active addiction that I could get out of it until I was on the other side. Seeing the beauty of life & gaining back my control I got a tattoo of a bandaid over flowers on my knee that says I’m enough. & a broken lightbulb on the knee that has flowers growing out of it that says break your limits & out grow yourself. Cause I can no longer relate to those versions of myself but can appreciate being able to grow from such broken places
If your ink could speak, what would it say?I am resilient, I never give up. I’m worth the struggle I’m strong enough, smart enough & determined enough to get through it.
