What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My chest piece “What Will Survive of Us is Love” w/ a sacred heart.I designed this in my head. What inspired this was my love for my childhood sweetheart to now life partner. My sobriety journey(6.5 years sober).Knocking on deaths door 8/14/18.I somehow survived. That “somehow” is love, powerful. My partner stuck by me,I was on my way to slipping in to a coma. I remember seeing his face & I suddenly came-to.Love is whole,it’s scary, beautiful, chaotic.Love is my world.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

Be still young heart…you will be ok,you always have been, ok.Stay wild moon-child. Persist on what makes me one with peace,do personal things only for myself for gratitude & self-care.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Start up a small animal rescue shelter.I infinitely love all animals(call me biased but mostly dogs).I rescued my dog Teddy(Theodore Andy). He was a “trash bag” pup.A woman found him in a ditch in Arlington, WA. Dec. 2015,tied up in a trash bag, alone.I was his third owner by the time he was,guesstimated,10 wks old. The amount of homeless, abused,& mistreated animals makes me rage out.I need to rescue!Iam one person,I can do something tho-I already have.Bless Teddy & Carlos.
