Learn MoreAt my last session I got two new pieces added to my sleeve.in.progress. The first was the feather of Ma'at; it's a Kemetic/ancient African symbol that represents balance, truth, and justice/integrity. The second piece was a Sankofa adinkra; an African symbol that represents respecting and *learning* from the past.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?If my ink could speak it would remind us all of how deeply connected we all are. That our humanity and Divinity are indelible, and that - at our core - we are all part of a greater whole. I believe there are a lot of lessons to be learned, strength to be garnered, and healing to be achieved in that.
What would you do with the $25,000?I'd likely invest in some ink for my daughter, who turns 18 this year. The remainder I would either use to take us on a trip somewhere, that's my best friend and runnin patna.
