Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My most recent tattoo says “grateful” with the date 4.3.23—my late grandma’s birthday. She was a true angel on earth who believed in gratitude no matter what life threw her way, and she carried that with her until her last breath. This tattoo is a little reminder to live with the same heart she did, even on the hard days.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

It would say that "every mark is a memory and every line is a promise". I’m a love letter written in permanent ink. I carry gratitude for a grandmother who taught me strength, a message from a someone who knew my heart, a date that changed my life forever, and a little beauty stitched over the battles I’ve fought and won.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With two teenage boys—one about to start high school and the other preparing for college—this $25,000 would mean everything. I would use it to invest in their education and their future, giving them the tools to chase their dreams without limits. As a parent, there's no greater hope than seeing your kids have a chance to build a life even bigger than the one you imagined for them.
