My most recent tattoo was a tiger on my knee. I was diagnosed with Lupus shortly before getting the tattoo and I suffer from severe joint and bone issues (back and knees especially). Because of this, I decided to train for a half marathon to prove to myself that my disease doesn’t limit me. The tiger is a symbol of strength and resilience over my disease.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?My tattoos would say “never, never, never give up. Challenges, pain, and suffering are beautiful because they give meaning and value to our successes and achievements.” They also say, to anyone looking at me, “herein lies a man with a story to tell…a man who is willing to tell it exactly how it is”
What would you do with the $25,000?My wife and I are celebrating our 10-year wedding anniversary this weekend, so I would buy her a thoughtful gift. But I would also get a full chest/stomach piece done by bang bang! (If they’d have me 😁)
