Enter For FreeMy most recent tattoo is an all seeing eye on my arm. I wanted something symbolic of God without being cliche. I’ve been getting tattooed since the day I turned 18 but it wasn’t until my mother passed away in 2023 that I unintentionally started my sleeve with her tribute. Big thanks to Austin Grove Tattoos in Boalsburg, PA.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?My path and my journey. My in-progress sleeve would tell the story of the last 2 years of my life. A tribute to my parents after I lost my mom in 2023, an eagle fighting a snake representing the deep depression I felt after her death. I got a bandaged anatomical heart that says “lust for life” after I was diagnosed with heart failure in early 2024, once I was cleared to stop taking blood thinners. I volunteer in a hospital and they are great conversation starters for the patients.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use some of the money to get my sculpture studio set up with tools and materials again. Most of 2024 was spent surviving and rehabbing after my heart failure and not making art. I would put some money back into savings because of the uncertainty of my condition. I would also use some to take my wife on a trip since things have been pretty stressful.
