My most recent piece is in my brother’s handwriting. It’s taken from the last card he ever wrote me. It’s raw, real, and permanent, just like the way he loved. It felt only right to turn his words into something I could carry with me for the rest of my life.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?It would say: “I never really left you.” My ink would whisper reminders of our bond, laugh at old memories, and wrap around me when I need him most. It would say, “Keep going—I’m proud of you,” in his voice, just loud enough for my heart to hear.
What would you do with the $25,000?I’d put it toward a memorial scholarship in his name. Helping someone chase their dream the way he always encouraged me to. And maybe get one more tattoo from the final artists on his list.
