My left sleeve. It ties into my left side piece. Both are flowers with filigree and “to live is not to be alive” in the middle. Each flower is a family member’s birth flower, I let them pick the colors. The words are from a time in life I was waking up & doing my responsibilities but not truly living life, just a reminder to really live life. Also, the one I got in my dad’s handwriting because I lost him in 2019 from cancer. Both are the newest.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?No matter what happens in life, there’s 3 things that are true 1) be thankful for what you have 2) don’t take anything for granted because it could be gone in an instant 3) life’s too short to not go live it to the fullest.
What would you do with the $25,000?Somehow I want to incorporate veterans and stray dogs. There has been a lot of evidence in the way the two save each other. I’ve always wanted to do something to provide for both sides. Shelter, food, rehab, anything for the sacrifice vets gave and the animals that deserve love. I’m an occupational therapist so I can incorporate that.
