Enter For FreeMy journey to find myself, believe in myself, love myself is what inspired my most recent tattoo. We are all inimitable in our own ways but sometimes we lose ourselves in the ways of others. From the word inimitable to my jungle of flowers, my sparkles and butterflies, my daughter’s name, my zodiac and my ambigram it’s a beautiful mess and it’s all me. It’s what has made me, molded me, come from me, or survived by me. A work in progress that represents me and my life.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?It would tell you about a girl scarred, but survived. That beauty is only skin deep and only judgements that you value matter. A woman that smiles through the pain. A mama bear protecting her cubs, a woman that will do what is necessary to provide for her family. Of hope in the darkest times and of beautiful creations blossomed in the midst of destruction and chaos. Of a soul surviving cancer. And that no matter what is going on you find the silver lining and you keep going.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would put $15,000 of it in an account for my children and let it accrue interest to put towards their goals after graduation, whether that be college, or trade school, or opening a business (that was never done for me). I would put the rest in an account to accrue interest for my business I plan to have. It’s not a super interesting plan but it seems logical to me. I don’t come from money and I don’t intend to blow it. I want financial security for me and my family.
