My most recent tattoo is Medusa. A lot of people do now know the meaning behind a Medusa tattoo. Ever since I opened up about my story I knew Medusa was a tattoo I wanted to receive, it was a way for me to express even though this happened to me, I am strong, and beautiful. My artist and I designed this Medusa to be the statement piece of my entire leg panel so show beauty but there is darkness that can stay around but she is still strong.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?My ink would say even when circumstances haven’t been the best I find a beautiful side of things. A lot of my ink is to show the beauty that people in my life had before passing. I have several memorial tattoos for my grandparents, friends, other loved ones along the way including my baby sister. I use my ink as a way to show how beautiful their lives were as well as my own.
What would you do with the $25,000?As a single mom, with $25,000 I would put away half of it for my daughter. She is my biggest blessing and being only 5 years old I know she looks up to me endlessly and I want to make everything happen for her in life. Part of it I would use to get her and I into a home of our own again. The rest of it would be used to take her on a nice weekend trip to visit my Grammies gravesite we haven’t been to since she passed in 2022 and to see our family out in Texas.
