The death of my best friend. He saved my life. I was facing 10 years in prison from a life of heroin addiction and 4 years of homelessness. He decided not to press charges and send me to treatment. I’ve been sober since (2018). He was with me when my dad died a year later, and was best man at my wedding. No matter what you have been through and what you have done, you can still build a life for yourself from the ashes. Believe in yourself and you are unstoppable.
