What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My father was a police officer in San Francisco, who taught me, honor, respect, compassion, pride, and dignity, and with that I fought hard to become a nurse I have been a critical care nurse in the ICU burn unit, ER to now both ICU and hospice. I fought hard through 10 years of tragedy and sorrow to finally become the nurse that I am so to honor my father I have his police flag being held up by my hands and my stethoscope with my two shepherds who work in the hospital with me on my days off

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

My Ink tells my story, my journey from dark to light. if I lost evry possession I own, I would only have to look at myself in the mirror to see the life that I have led. My faith, My strength, my endurance, my pain and loss but also my survival! the love I have for my husband‘s & for my children, my Joy, my friends, and my career. when I share my ink story with others it proves faith, endurance, hope and grace can move mountains.

What would you do with the $25,000?

First and foremost, I would share it if I was able to, however, I want more than anything for a stained glass thigh piece that has 2 framed women one young version of me and 1 older, but the young girl, the glass is cracked with pieces fallen down my leg, missing pieces and broken pieces, but the current version is intact and beautiful to show no matter what we go through, how broken or damaged we may feel, the end result is flawless Becaus I was not born I was forged into the proud woman I am
