Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

Ppl get arrows all the time. But when released you can’t determine where they fly. Life’s been hard but my arrows pointed to the ground to remind me to stay rooted and aim for what I want not just hope for it. I’m not all talk. I’ll walk the walk.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

I’ve always wanted my spirit animal (flamingo) to cover the left side of my body. I was abused sexually after losing my dad. This caused me to pretend to be big and bad. Imu child like mind. No one will hurt you if there’s scared. Not having a father, I had no idea of how I should be treated. Prison made me a great woman. I’m off parole. Work in a doctors office and to have a flamingo shadow like on my side would remind me how far I’ve flying and to avoid danger at all co

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I had $25,000, I’ll do for myself when I know my father would’ve helped me accomplish by now I would put it toward a home. I was in prison longer than I’ve been anywhere in my life.
