Learn MoreMy most recent tattoo is a realistic image of my grandmother's house in the Himalayan mountains of India. I chose it because it is a symbol of my indian heritage, and a place I've travelled to since I was young. It represents peace, nature, legacy, and freedom. It is a meditative center for me in an otherwise busy, fluid world. It reminds me of where I come from and where I can always return to. It's deeply personal and beautiful, with a picturesque and nostalgic form, which means a lot to me.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?You are the sum of many lands and legacies. In the quiet of the mountains and the turning of autumn leaves, find your peace. You are rooted in love, shaped by memory, and carried forward by strength. This skin bears stories—of where you come from, who you’ve loved, and the paths that call you home. In every season, in every storm, remember: you are held, you are whole, and you are free.
What would you do with the $25,000?To build out my sleeve, I’d blend deeply personal symbols into a cohesive story—flowers blooming along the arm to represent growth and beauty through every season of life. The Mirror of Erised would anchor the piece, reflecting the ever-shifting desires that drive me. Sharp geometric lines would run through the design, echoing my love for science and precision as a plastic surgeon. Together, it would be a tapestry of legacy, longing, healing, and the pursuit of purpose.
