Christine Warmbrodt

Too much behind them, I want to connect my body to art. Most my ink is teenage mistakes. I’ve grown, lost weight & ready to show inked skin!

What inspired your most recent tattoo?

It’s been a long time, over a decade. Freddie Mercury autograph. I was an addict, going through family death, I was numb from the 3 year coke binge. Queen brought me back to my roots, then further. Freddie had a voice that touched me, his private life, quiet, recluse, like me. It healed me. I’m grounded when my bucktoothed beauty voice is heard

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

Mostly, DUMB KID MOVES My first tat was done by me with Indian ink and a needle I did while skipping classes in high school. I want a tat that speaks art and body.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Get a piece that is beautiful, shows my feminine side. I’m 40 and finally not overweight (other than my coke days) and cover scars from teenage self cutting. I’d get a well for the cabin I live in, stone my driveway which is super long, upgrade my electric and get plumbing! I’m homesteading my family cabin and it’s rough.
