Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My best friend passed away in a terrible car crash in Feb. 2024 and it broke my heart. I got a snake surrounded by iris flowers to represent the month they left this earth and a snake to represent the love we shared for all animals, snakes being my favorite. Looking at it makes me think of them every day and reminds me to live my life to the fullest in honor of them because you never know which day will be the last.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

I’m stronger than everything I’ve been through in life, growing up in an abusive house with a father who was mentally unstable and more, but I have maintained my ability to be kind, patient and caring despite the hardships I faced. It would say I’m full of love and hope for better days and that im going to fight for the ones I love through any circumstance. Im also not the one to mess with and I make shit happen.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would put down a downpayment toward buying land to start the nonprofit I’ve always dreamed of. I’d start rescuing and rehabilitating horses that were abused or headed toward slaughter to provide a safe haven for them. I’d get certified to provide equine therapy to fellow survivors of sexual assault and children with special needs because I have first hand experience working with horses to heal my own trauma from assault and doing equine therapy with my autistic nephews.
