My last Tattoo was an anime strip of Tanjiro Kamidos eyes. I’m a lover of anime. One of my favorite characters Tanjiro a main character in Demon Slayer has characteristics that I feel match my own. His perseverance really stuck out to me even in spite of losing his family to be slaughtered by demons.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?It would speak the story of black men that have been knocked down but still stand up. It would speak to the artist that persisted forward in spite of black balling, ghosting, and the perversion of the entertainment industry. It would speak to ancestry and Yahwehs love.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the $25000 to fund my play, I’m also a playwright. I would love an opportunity to tell the multicultural and mental health focused story properly. I would use it to do something powerful for my children and my mom. By funding these goals I can help make people’s dreams come true.
