They were inspired by two gold angel statues that were used as centerpieces on the tables at my late grandmother’s celebration of life. I’ve taken a lot of time to carefully curate my arm. Just looking at them makes me cry. My arm is representative of the matriarchs of my family. It means the world to me.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?It would say that I am the same blood of incredible women who created my families. Who were women that pushed against the norm of society to be successful, independent women beyond what they even thought possible. I am the women before me, and it’s an honor.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would pay off the debt I accrued helping my husband through school, donate to my family church, and then put the rest away to hopefully help build a small savings to go toward purchasing a home in the future.
