My ink journey started in defiance to being controlled by high demand religion my entire life.

Enter For FreeMy most recent and largest tattoo is a conglomeration of images that represent my children (butterflies), my adaptability and intelligence to get out of a cult (octopus), and finding beauty in life despite all the bullshit (flowers). I wanted something loud and bright because that is my personality.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?It would say that I have power and autonomy over my body, and what I choose to do with it is my business alone. It would tell all those who taught me to hate myself that I am beautiful, strong, and smart enough to know I am not their servant or stepping stool. My ink also tells the world that it is safe to be yourself around me no matter your sexuality or identity.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would love to take my family to New Zealand, but I also want to build a recording studio for my singing. I believe my voice can bring power to the plight of the marginalized, because I, too, have never fit in. I believe diversity in this world is what makes it beautiful, and those who are trying to silence and control anyone 'different' are the REAL problem.
