My ambigram tattoo of Live/Life represents my journey from addiction, homelessness, and prison to healing and purpose. I rebuilt my life from the ground up, and now I live with joy, spreading love through my business, Beyond the Bars Peer Support. It’s a reminder that even in struggle, life is worth living—and that everyone deserves a place to heal without judgment.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?If my ink could speak, it would say life is still beautiful—even after addiction, homelessness, mental health battles, and prison. It would speak of strength, second chances, and the power of change. Anything is possible if you set your mind to it. Helping others, showing empathy, care, and living without judgment—that’s my new way of life.
What would you do with the $25,000?I’d use $25,000 to launch my business, Beyond the Bars Peer Support, helping people overcome addiction, homelessness, and mental health struggles. It would fund an office space, a vehicle to transport clients to appointments, and provide vital support to those in need as they rebuild their lives.
