Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

An artist that a friend of mine has gone to for multiple pieces was celebrating an anniversary and offering a limited number of special appointments so I decided to snag one. Very spontaneous decision, and with an American traditional artist which was new to me. My daughter went along and picked out the flash and color for it. All of my tattoos are full color, and the artist was willing to be flexible and stray away from the usual American traditional color scheme.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

Patience, planning, and commitment to the idea. Keeping with who I am as a person and what I care about, and evolving a bit along the way. Representing people in my family and my interests, and places I’ve lived. We will see where it goes next.

What would you do with the $25,000?

The money would definitely go to the move we have in the works, and ongoing renovations with the house we’re selling. We have been doing the work ourselves for the most part, and $25,000 can go a very long way toward materials, or even new furniture when we move. It would certainly lighten the burden.
