I saw a tattoo shop on the Homer Alaska boardwalk and knew in my spirit that I wanted to get a tattoo in honor and recognition of my relationship with my dad. I got a simple lightning bolt tattoo. He has a similar one and I always feel close to my dad when I look at it.

What would you do with the $25,000?I would get a tattoo of the Greek mythology of Daphne who transforms from a nymph into a laurel tree, covering my bullet wound form being shot with a .44 magnum. Her heroing story is more than just one of transformation, but one of overcoming toxic love and a threat to her life. Not just because we share a name, but because I was almost murdered in 2019. I want to showcase my complete spiritual and psychological transformation which is embodied within the myth of Daphne and me.
