Enter For FreeI was a Deputy Sheriff dealing with a mental health person that needed to go to the hospital. At first everything was going smoothly but then the persons mood/personality switched and it ended up in a fight. In the fight I was kicked in the chest multiple times until I was able to get them in handcuffs. I then transported the subject to the mental health hospital. Then went to another hospital for my bad pain and difficulty breathing. The fight ended up causing severe damage to my heart.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?The tattoo is Arch Angel St Michael protected of Law Enforcement. He would say that he spoke to his supervisor (God) telling him to help me survive the injury. So I had a LVAD running my heart for 3 years until St Michael located a donor for my doctors to supply me with another chance at life with my two daughters (2now). St Michael knew I had to be here in September 2011. My 2nd daughter was born 5 days after getting home from my heart transplant.
What would you do with the $25,000?My father has been battling cancer recently and I know how hard it is on people. I had a coworker who lost his 12 yr old son to leukemia. So I would donate some to cancer families in need, The Harbor House of Rochester. I e dreamt of starting a Scholarship for graduates of high school who may have lost a parent to either Cancer or Heart issues.
