Enter For FreeI recently finished going through the process of rededicating my life to Christ and got baptized on Easter Sunday. The closer I got to the day of my baptism, the more I kept feeling called to get the word “Chosen” in red script on the back of my neck with a cross underneath it, so I went to get it while visiting one of my brothers I grew up in the church with out in Texas.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?It would tell my story of spiritual development. From starting off with a religious background, going out into the world and rebelling against God and my upbringing in search of myself and answers to the emptiness I felt inside, thinking I’ve figured things out, to having my reckoning with God and making an offering of reconciliation. They would speak to all of the lessons learned that have gotten me to this point in my life.
What would you do with the $25,000?12% would go to my church as a tithe. Then, I would use some for repairs on my current car as it has been on my heart to donate it to a younger person at my church that could use it since I’m getting to the point of being able to afford a new vehicle of my own. I would use some of the money for a down payment on my new car, and then put the rest in my investment account to build in order to help me pay for upcoming travel and team fees for the Jamaican national lacrosse team I play for.
