Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

Hummingbird -it has several meanings but the one that resonates with me is resilience and healing. I've been through a lot especially these past 5 years, the death of my son, cancer and I've learned the beauty of life and living and the importance of finding Joy. Continuing in my journey to heal.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

It would say what others say to me when they see it. Beautiful, colorful, vibrant. Those are all things that I want to describe my life. For a good while my life seemed very dark and I allowed it to overtake me. I have truly found beauty in the ashes and now see things through a different lens. I find beauty in the smallest things. I live with a new excitement, a more vibrant life, a more colorful life not caring what others think about what I look like. I learned to love myself.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Pay off my debt I've incurred over the past 5 to 10 years. Take a vacation. I haven't had a vacation since I had my autistic son 22 years ago. By the ring with my son's fingerprint on it that I've been wanting but couldn't afford. And put a little on savings. Of course get more tattoos.
