Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

I had a tattoo of the Viking alphabet D and K on my arm, my ex fiancé had the same on his. He left me in June last year and I went back to the artist and changed his letter. It was a great feeling to not lose the coolness of that tattoo but change the meaning. I didn’t want to change the nature and was very happy the artist could work with me to keep it intact. If your ink could speak, what would it say?

Everyone’s story is so different. I’ve loved tattoos since I was a little girl and once I got one I knew more were coming. My tattoos are private expressions of life experiences I can look at them and remember the things I did then, the people I knew, the smells I wore. I wouldn’t change them for the world.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Hmmmm… good question! I think I’d probably put a deposit down on a bronco, pay off some law school loans, maybe get a boob job. Maybe a townhouse, buy a baby Doberman… But probably first thing I’d buy this bag I’ve been wanting. No shame!
