Enter For FreeIt was born from grief. A line from a show - “Everything changes. When heartbreak is inevitable. Cry.” hit me hard. I created an abstract piece with a chrysanthemum in a perfect circle for beauty in cycles, a spiral for the origin of life, and a scale for emotional balance. It’s a visual reminder to have self-compassion as I navigate life’s obstacles and changes.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?The tiger: “Keep moving, stay determined, no matter what.” The hawk: “When it’s time to go, leave.” The abstract piece: “You’re allowed to break. Just don’t stay shattered. Keep growing.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the money to get more tattoos of course, but also to invest in my child care program in the Bronx. I’m an educator at heart, and I want to keep inspiring children the way I was inspired. I’ll buy more toys and hire an art teacher to motivate and inspire the kids in my community!
