Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

I grew up in the deep south near the gulf coast, a very common bird in and around these parts Is the blue heron. It's stature and aura are mysterious, majestic, and when you look deep in it's eyes, I feel it emanates a sense of maturity through painful experience (if that makes any sense) . I think this fully encompasses the rich and painful history of the deep south and my story Intertwined. (I guess needless to say my most recent tat is a blue heron)

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

My ink might express the importance of a joyful and curious approach to the human experience. If my ink gave me a heartfelt speech the thesis would highlight the power of an open-minded approach, loving your neighbors regardless of their predisposition, and the idea that we are constantly learning, like phases of the moon, the crescent being the beginning stages of knowledge, stars illuminating, constantly reaching new ideals, new ways of thinking, reaching full moon, and repeat til death.

What would you do with the $25,000?

i would try to invest in a legal homegrowing weed business, get all the proper licenses, infrastructure and equipment. And use the profits from this to invest in free food market events in places like where I grew up. Hopefully I can expand this into something larger through other methods too, I tattoo so investing in a studio as well. I'd try to split the investment money between these two avenues to achieve the bigger goal of feeding folks on a large scale.
