Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My most recent tattoo would be the words, “You are Beautiful, Strong and loved more than you will ever fathom. Love Mami” written in my mom’s handwriting on my ribs. My mom wrote that on an envelope to a letter she wrote me while I was in bootcamp also making it one of the last things she ever wrote, let alone for me. I got that tattoo after I had to watch my mom go over FaceTime because I was stationed in South Carolina. It is my most meaningful tattoo now and forever.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

This is me. There’s not much else to it. I got every tattoo with love for the piece, the artistry and the meaning and/or story behind each and every one. My mom is the inspiration for my love of tattoos and I know she’s up there smiling at every new piece I get. I can hear her telling me that I’m a badass whose character isn’t based on what tattoos I have and if somebody tries to say otherwise, tell ‘em to kiss my ass lmao. I love her.

What would you do with the $25,000?

First! I’m flying back to South Carolina where I was stationed to get my sleeve finished! I’ve been waiting to be in the financial spot to finally have my artist, Jose, finish what we started 😭🖤 Other than that, it would absolutely take care of some bills I need to take care of and still leave me with freaking PLENTY to share the blessing with those who need it going forward. I would love to be in the position to seriously and further help people in need.
