I needed a tribute memorial tattoo for my daughter who lost her life to cancer at the young age of 42. She was my first love and best friend. I had her at the age of 15. We grew up together. This tattoo is a broken hospital wall clock with the hands pointing to the time of her death. A blue flower for her birth month. It has her dates of birth and death and a black ribbon to represent Melanoma the cancer that took her away. It reminds me of her strength that she showed up to her last breath.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?Every tattoo I have has a story attached or special meaning to me. I have a strength tattoo to remind me that I’m strong enough for this life. I have one that I got with my mom (her 1st tattoo). I have one with my youngest daughter too. Each tattoo would tell you the ups and downs of life. Life is an emotional journey that I share with others in hopes that someone will relate to and understand that they are not alone.
What would you do with the $25,000?This is a tough question. $25k is life changing for most. I have a small debt of $2k that I would like to pay off and then I would put the rest of money into supporting others. I belong to a gym that needs funds for repairs. My gym supports many members who are recovering addiction and mental health issues. Our time together there is for each other. I’d like to keep building up this community and friendships.
