My most recent tattoos were behind my ears. I’m in the military and once the regulations relaxed its policy, I just seized the opportunity. I got a rendition of the happy human symbol for humanism crossed with the vitruvian man and the sword of Damocles. I was inspired by my own beliefs in humanity’s agency and the beauty of how fragile it is to lose everything we hold onto in our lives.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?You can be free to fly miles and miles, even across the universe, but a bird with no home is a kite dancing in a thunderstorm.
