What inspired your most recent tattoo?

I am a proud survivor of +16 years of Domestic Violence and a survivor of sexual assault. I had brain surgery because of the Domestic Violence I was in. So I chose a tattoo when someone asks me about my tattoo, I get to share my story with them and bring awareness as well. It reminds me that the strength I have today is because I am a survivor of brain surgery due to Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

Dorothy is brave, strong and resilient. She is truly an inspiration to the ones suffering from Domestic Violence and sexual assault and the other survivors. Anyone that looks at me will hear me tell them YOU ARE ENOUGH and YOU MATTER. Don’t ever let anyone tell you otherwise.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would donate some to a domestic violence shelter. I would use the rest to start getting things together so I could open my own Domestic Violence shelter for both men and women with children. I have found that most men in a domestic violence situation aren’t offered a safe place to stay with their children. They get push into a hotel for a week then forgotten about.
