Enter For FreeI'd say my tattoo was inspired by my beliefs. I love the ideology of the tree of life and that everything is connected. With that I thought of true core values of life, although there is many more than the 4 listed. Also love the concept of yin/yang and represented it with life/death as half the tree is alive and dead.
If your ink could speak, what would it say? It'd say that life is an tempory experience. You are you by the family or loved ones you have. The knowledge you choose to aquire. The happiness that you find. The pain that you endure. The energy you put out will rebound, and your perception will make the short time lived heavenly or hellish.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would finish my full back piece. Incorporate a commemorative meaning to loved ones who've passed. I'd would have a waterfall pouring out the back of my head symbolizing a flood of memories that wrap around the tree and catch the fallen leaves of the unalive side. The stream of water would weave like a double helix around the characters on my spine. Then would include floral and scenery to tie it together. Would use the remaining to enable others to get commemorative tattoos of there own.
