My grim reaper is my most recent tattoo. For me it is a constant reminder of the multiple dances we have had together in my forty five years. From a Harley Davidson accident that broke my skull sternum and three bones in my back to the trial and tribulations I faced bringing my three children into the world and the fact that I was born not breathing. That life is precious and not to be taken for granted.

As a musician reads notes and brings to life the only universal language my ink speaks to anyone willing to look. It tells the story of a woman coming into her own being. Who she is and where she is going marked with tidbits and triggers of where she has been.

I have never been a money person, but raising my three children alone has led me to work three and four jobs at a time just to make ends meet. In a few months my middle child will be going off to college leaving my youngest and I a unique opportunity to get out of the area I grew up in and start somewhere new. She is eleven and a fresh start away from things that trouble her enormous heart and gifted mind would truly change her life for the better and that is my only goal.
