Enter For FreeMy grandfather, he was always called “Rabbit”, my mother and grandmother both called him that. Friends would call him that when we went into town together. I didn’t find out until middle school, that wasn’t in fact his name, it was Wade. So I got a Rabbit dedicated to him, in a trench coat to fit my Alice in wonderland sleeve. It’s also surrounded by my favorite flower, mediterranean sea holly, which is in fact thistle, strong and unwavering like myself.
