What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My most recent tattoo is a buffalo with two feathers. It was originally a cover up for a poorly done tattoo (a tattoo I got in memory of my amazing grandmother). I chose the Buffalo because it represents resilience and strength. Both characteristics that describe who my grandmother was and where I came from. The feathers symbolize my spiritual connection to her that is forever shown on me.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

it’d start with 1971 and 1977, Telling the story of the roots of love that made me. They would be whispering stories of outlaws and open roads, humming Johnny Cash through the cracks of each line. It would speak of a quiet pride in small-town skies and fields that raised me. They’d preach respect of the land, the spirit, and the wild things we carry in our bones. Grinning like death ain’t nothing but another good story worth telling.

What would you do with the $25,000?

It would be life changing. I would be able to have the wedding of my dreams. I would put it towards fixing up my ‘78 transam as well. I would also use it to help fund me traveling the world and making life experiences. I would also, of course, finish my tattoo sleeve.
