Learn MoreMy most recent tattoo says “miscellany”, which is the name of my farm. It’s on my right hand and is a reminder to chase your dreams, stay focused and work hard to achieve your goals. I have always dreamed of owning a farm and I am one step closer to fulfilling that dream lately. Seeing the name on my hand brings me joy and encourages me to continue growing and building a life that I am proud of. Owning Miscellany Farms will be a huge accomplishment and a labor of love! ❤️
If your ink could speak, what would it say?I think that if my ink could speak it would tell you my entire life story. It would speak of abuse and violence, but also of healing and joy. It would speak of loss and emptiness and how heavy life can feel. It would tell you about my children and my loved ones and how they are permanently etched into my skin. It would speak of hope and peace. But mostly, I think it would speak of love - love for yourself and others. And it would tell you to boldly live your truth.
What would you do with the $25,000?25k would allow me to continue to build my dream farm, hopefully one day big enough to truly make a difference and help people. Having a functioning and thriving farm would allow me to provide so many families with food security and a community that I feel we all yearn for. A farm is a beautiful place to come together - to dig in the soil, do yoga in the fields and camp in the woods. To provide healthy, organic, whole foods from a trusted source is a comfort I hope to one day share with others.
