As a proud queer Asian woman, I want to honor my heritage and my culture. Each piece of my sleeve honors a different piece of the many identities I carry with me.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?Your body belongs to no one else, it houses you. Make it feel like home, paint the walls, never feel ashamed to wear who you are and where you come from.
What would you do with the $25,000?1) Make a gift of half to the Virginia Beach Court Appointed Special Advocates—I am a volunteer and our funding has been slashed dramatically this year. We need support to keep advocating for abused and neglected kids! 2) keep the other half for my family and I, and a little to add some new ink! Allisin Riot at Athens Tattoo and Taryn Williams at Studio Evolve are amazing artists.
