Enter For FreeI got a tattoo of tiger balm because it reminded me of my childhood when my mother and grandmother would put it on temples when i wasn’t feeling well. I also wanted something Asian so that I could show up as my authentic self, and feel proud of my heritage. I noticed how often I code switched and wanted to change the narrative.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?I would say it represents my interests, my heritage, honoring loved ones. My fun & random personality, my different fashion tastes. There’s also just random tattoos that make me happy. It’s a representation of me, and I am what ties all of it together because it’s all different.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use it to pay off some of the tattoos I’ve gotten, pay for future tattoos, and help out my friends and loved ones with some needed expenses.
