My most recent tattoo is of my union crest with the caption "IUEC SISTER". The inspiration is that after 6 years of being told I couldn't do it, I passed our union journey exam. In spite of and proudly against those that tried to destroy and deny me. And finally as a reminder to all that see me, that I AM a union sister, through and through.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?That I draw my strength, resilience, and endurance from the pressures against me. That through it all, I will succeed.
