Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My most recent tattoo was inspired by my mom, my love for flowers, and just a general want for it. I think it’s beautiful and I want it to be a part of my body for the rest of my life. Flowers have always been something my mom and I can talk about, even when we don’t get along that well, and they’ve always been a part of my life. I love finding flowers around me, even in cities, and now I find them on me as well.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

My ink tells a story of who I’ve been and who I’m hoping to become. It would tell you about my dreams, my hopes for the future, and some of my memories of those who are both here and no longer here. I’m hoping to get more tattoos which should represent my resilience and strength, through a beautiful medium.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use it to fund my education. I’m currently a struggling college student. I have 3 younger siblings who also plan to go to college in the next 4-5 years, so I don’t have help from my parents, and to build the life I want, I’ll need to have a bachelors degree, and attend vet school for 4 years to get a professional degree. I currently work and try to support myself through college with no help from my parents, although it’s difficult, so if I won it would help them
